Effective May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is in force. The GDPR introduces more obligations for organizations that process data. Organizations must be able to demonstrate with documents that they have taken the appropriate organizational and technical measures to comply with the GDPR (‘accountability’). Ministry of Entertainment (hereafter referred to as “MOE”) meets all the requirements. This can be verified in the privacy statement provided below.

Privacystatement

This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal and business data (hereafter referred to as “data”) of our clients, potential clients, and other individuals who have contact with us MOE is responsible for the processing of your data and exercises the utmost care in doing so.

What data do we process, and for what purpose?

If you commission MOE, your data will be processed. This includes at least your contact information. MOE can only keep you informed of its activities through the processing of your data. MOE does not process data obtained from visits to our website (cookies, IP addresses, etc.). You have provided your email address to MOE so that you can be kept informed of its meetings and other news broadcasts. You will also receive invitations to MOE’s meetings at the provided email address. If you do not wish to receive these messages or invitations, you can notify us accordingly.

Who do we share your data with, and how is your data secured?

Your data is stored in a digital file, and thus processed by our ICT provider. MOE has taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access by third parties. Our ICT provider has also implemented suitable security measures.

What are your rights?

Your rights are outlined in Articles 15 through 20 of the GDPR, including: AO:

a. the right to access your data and to receive a copy of it;

b. the right to rectification of your data;

c. the right to erasure of your data (‘right to be forgotten’).
